Sammy Baugh Division

8. Philip Rivers (Prev: 7)

Rivers has to be thinking about his legacy at this point. A great career and not a single Super Bowl appearance, with most years ending before the playoffs. We are starting to see his decline with only a 60.1 completion rate, and it’s too bad. He’s basically another version of Dan Fouts.

7. Dak Prescott (Prev: 6)

Prescott had absolutely no chance on Sunday, being sacked eight times in a loss to the Falcons. If Ezekiel Elliott and Tyron Smith aren’t back soon, we will find out very soon how Prescott does on a middling roster.

6. Jared Goff (Prev: 12)

Goff continues to exist on the fringe of MVP conversations. After looking utterly lost as a rookie, Goff has turned it around in a big way, throwing for 2,385 yards with 16 touchdowns and four interceptions. In related news, Sean McVay is the Coach of the Year.

5. Alex Smith (Prev: 5)

Smith is coming off Kansas City’s bye week and goes from playing the league’s toughest slate to one of its easiest. There’s a very good chance Smith throws for more than 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns, something nobody imagined was possible.
