The Oakland Raiders are trying to stay alive in the AFC Playoff race, but they have a daunting task ahead of them this weekend. While the Silver and Black are coming off their bye week, they do have to head to Mexico to take on the New England Patriots. The Pats are firing on all cylinders right now, and for the Raiders, one more loss could make getting to the playoffs a very uphill battle.
When it comes to the Raiders, the bugaboo has long been the play of their secondary. In 2017, the team spent a first round pick on Ohio State cornerback Gareon Conley, but he was recently placed on injured reserve. The Raiders need to draft a corner again in 2018, and Tarvarus McFadden from Florida State would be a nice grab at No. 14.
McFadden is one of the more versatile players in this draft, and some believe he could even play safety at the next level. He also is a decent return man, so he could put on a bunch of different hats for the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders have played inconsistent football this season, and it is very likely that they are drafting in the middle of the first round next April.
