Titans at Steelers: Highlights, score and recap
The Titans and Steelers battled in Pittsburgh on Thursday Night Football. Who made it through the short week with the victory?
While the biggest story of the night was the introduction of the âMadden Camâ on the Thursday Night Football broadcast, the Pittsburgh Steelers made sure to put on a show at home when they played the Tennessee Titans to kick off Week 11.
The matchup looked like it could be a close, hard-fought game, but the Steelers put away those notions rather quickly. The duo of Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown annihilated the Titans defense on the teamâs way to a 40-17 win at home.
Just with Brownâs catches alone, there were enough highlights to tide you over until Sunday. However, there was even more action to check out, which you can look at below if you missed any of the action on Thursday night. Catch the highlights below:
Three Stars
1. Antonio Brown
The Steelers wide receiver hit double digits in receptions on the night, tallied well over 100 yards and even amassed three touchdowns to prove why he deserved the first star of the night in this huge win for the Steelers. Brownâs trending up at the right time, and itâll be interesting to see if he and the Steelers offense can keep it up throughout the backend of the season.
2. Ben Roethlisberger
While Antonio Brown was lighting up the Titans defense, you have to give the guy throwing him the ball some credit. Between three touchdowns to Brown and one to Jesse James, Roethlisberger torched the Titans in the passing game and had one of his better games of the year in the victory.
3. Chris Boswell
Itâs weird to give a kicker some love in a blowout victory like this, but Chris Boswell was killing it from long range for the Steelers on Thursday night. He had four field goals along with seemingly endless extra points that slowly and surely put the game away for the boys in black and gold.
