We’re getting ready to see the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants square off at MetLife Stadium. Which team will prevail in this contest?

It’s been a rough stretch for both the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants. Of course, things are different when you open a season 5-0 opposed to 0-5. Hence Andy Reid’s club has dropped three of its last four outings and remains atop the AFC West with a 6-3 record. On the other hand, Big Blue is a dismal 1-8 and is in the midst of a three-game losing streak that has seen Ben McAdoo’s team outscored a combined 106-45 by the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers, respectively.

So what can we expect when the Chiefs invade MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon? And are the Giants capable of pulling off one of the bigger upsets of the NFL season?

Odds

Line: Chiefs (-10.5)

Over/Under: 45

It’s almost unimaginable but the Giants are 10.5-point home underdogs to a Kansas City team that has lost three of its last four games. That line according to the staff at OddsShark. Then again, we are talking McAdoo’s struggling club, one that has lost all four home games this season.

The Kansas City Chiefs have dropped three of their last four games following a 5-0 start. And their defense has digressed the last few weeks. They had last week off and Andy Reid has always been good in this situation. Meanwhile, the New York Giants are arguably the most disappointing team in the NFL this season. The offense has been dreadful but it’s the defense that has really fallen on their facemasks. Even with the Chiefs’ recent slump, Big Blue is headed in the wrong direction.

Pick: Chiefs 20, Giants 9
