The Jaguars are fighting for a playoff spot while the Browns are still in search of a victory as the two teams square off in Cleveland in Week 11.

Somehow, 10 weeks into the 2017 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars are surprisingly in the hunt for a potential playoff spot in the AFC. What’s not surprising, however, is the fact that they’ll be playing a winless Cleveland Browns squad on the road in Week 11 in a potential equivalent to a bye week.

The Jaguars have shocked a lot of people with their performance in the AFC South so far, competing in a tight race with the Tennessee Titans for the top spot in the division with seven weeks left in the season. They’ll be in the hunt for a postseason spot in a weak AFC, whether it’s as a divisional champion or a wildcard team, and it’ll be interesting to see how they finish out 2017.

Meanwhile, the Browns are the exact opposite at this point in the year. They can’t even string together one win, let alone a streak good enough to put them even close to contention in the conference, and it won’t get any easy in the tail end of the season. They’re basically fighting for a potential top pick in the draft at this point, and tanking may now be in the cards.

This game doesn’t have too much going on as far as superstars are concerned, with both teams rather mediocre on offense with some young studs leading their respective defenses. This one will be a low-scoring affair, and it’s all about which side’s talented youth can come out on top.

In the end, I see the Jaguars squeaking by despite the talent mismatch, taking a one-possession win out of the trip to Cleveland to gain some ground in the AFC South.

Prediction: Jaguars 17, Browns 13
