NFL Week 11: 5 teams that must win

We’ve got a great slate of games this week as playoff implications continue to rise with every week. These five teams enter must-win situations in Week 11.

It’s what we’ve all been waiting for. There’s going to be some great NFL football on this week. The best of the best are finally coming up against each other and we’ll start to see the playoff picture pan out over the course of the next couple weeks. As we’ve seen, there are still plenty of teams vying for playoff spots. Some are even hanging on by a thread.

These five teams have to come away with wins in Week 11 or else they’ll be in some big trouble.

5. Tennesee Titans

You wouldn’t expect a division-leading team to be in a must-win situation this week but that’s exactly where the Titans. At 6-3, they hold a tiebreaker over the Jaguars atop the division but they face a tough Thursday Night Football matchup against the Steelers. On the other side, the Jaguars have arguably their easiest game on the schedule against the Browns.

A win is crucial for the Titans tonight not only to stay in first place in the division but also prove they’re a legitimate contender in the AFC. They’ve had some good wins but have yet to beat a proven AFC threat this season. The Steelers are certainly one of those teams and have high playoff aspirations this season. The Titans could make a big statement with a win.

Along with the Jags, the Titans have a favorable schedule down the final stretch of the season. Four of their last six opponents have losing records, which is like an early Christmas present. Every win is going to count especially with how tight the playoff race is in the AFC right now. There are tons of middle of the pack teams fighting for a Wild Card spot. The Titans can gain some cushion with a much-needed win tonight.
