Week 11 of the NFL season is here. Only six more weeks to make money and play daily fantasy football at DraftKings.
Fantasy owners, we are one week away from not having to worry about bye weeks anymore. Let’s rejoice next week. For now we can focus on a tough Week 11 slate.
Taking a look back on a bad Week 10 for most of the daily fantasy community is important. The big players who most projected well all blew up in our faces. The Steelers struggled with the Colts defense. The Jets offense reminded us that they’re still the Jets. Detroit almost lost to Cleveland and the Jaguars running game was non existent. Here is the lineup I submitted for Week 10.
QB: Josh McCown
RB: Le’Veon Bell
RB: Orleans Darkwa
WR: A.J. Green
WR: Marquise Goodwin
WR: Chris Godwin
TE: Kyle Rudolph
FLEX: Alvin Kamara
D/ST: Los Angeles Rams

The problem with this lineup was the biggest name player simply did not show up as expected. Le’Veon Bell had only 80 yards and did not have a touchdown. A.J. Green had a solid outing with 115 and a touchdown. Chris Godwin, my value pick for Tampa Bay, had 68 yards and no touchdowns. Marquise Goodwin paid off with a monster touchdown and over 100 yards. Kyle Rudolph felt like the only Vikings player not to find the end zone.
Orleans Darkwa lost carries to rookie Wayne Gallman despite impressive performances in the past few weeks. Finally Alvin Kamara had a monster outing and kept this lineup in some sort of money at least.

Week 11 features 11 games with four teams on bye. Those four teams are the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers. Aside from Carolina there is not much fantasy value there.
The fantasy value is lost in the games that the featured DraftKings tournaments do not include. Those games are the Thursday night, Sunday night, and Monday night games. Those feature the Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.
There is some slim pickings for the DraftKings featured lineups. The following are the list of high priced players at each position and then some value plays to help fill out your lineup. At the end is my projected lineup for Week 1’s free contest.
Kicking things of are the quarterbacks.
