The Walking Dead wants fans to learn more about Negan this Sunday. Here’s the official The Walking Dead season 8, episode 5 synopsis.

Have you ever been watching The Walking Dead and thought, I wish I was able to get into the head of that complete psychopath Negan? If your answer is yes, the AMC series is granting your wish in the next episode, which will tell the events of Walking Dead season 8 to date from the perspective of the villains.

Season 8, episode 5 is called “The Big Scary U” and according to the network’s official synopsis, it will give insight into the world of the Saviors during their current war with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and company. The story will be told through a “familiar” character, and though it’s not officially said who, it’s not a stretch to think that it’s Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt), considering he’s a character Walking Dead fans know and how infamously he turned sides.

So what will seeing the same story from the other side tell us that we need to know or didn’t already know before? Are we supposed to become sympathetic toward the Saviors by knowing how they see things? Will we see some less than flattering things in how they perceive Rick and the crew? At least, if nothing else, we should get some more screen time for Jeffrey Dean Morgan, which is always a plus.

Here’s how AMC officially describes the episode:

"A close look at Negan and the lives of the Saviors during the conflict through a familiar set of eyes."
