Watford have endured an up and down season early on. They began the year with one loss in their first eight matches, but have lost three straight since. The Hornets are still in the top half of the table though, which has to be considered a success thus far. Their manager Marco Silva has his squad playing pragmatic, yet aesthetically pleasing soccer and has attracted attention from bigger clubs like Everton recently. Nothing concrete has come from the approaches, and Watford fans are hoping he stays on, for good reason too. Despite the recent drop in form, they’ve already beaten Arsenal and drawn Liverpool, and could fight for a Euro League spot if they continue to play well.
West Ham have been one of the biggest disappointments in the Premier League this season. The Hammers currently sit in a relegation spot in 18th place, and have looked downright awful for stretches. The club fired manager Slaven Bilic after the 4-1 loss to Liverpool and hired former Sunderland and Manchester United manager David Moyes. The move seems rather uninspiring, but the team has to rally around him, unlike how they did for Bilic. West Ham fans will be hoping for a new manager bounce in Moyes’ first match with the new team.
