Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles met in a battle of champions at WWE Survivor Series on Sunday night.

With SmackDown Live leading Monday Night Raw three to two leading into the battle between two champions, Brock Lesnar had the momentum against AJ Styles early. After last year’s loss at Survivor Series, Lesnar looked the complete opposite a year later.

Repeated shots in the corner led to german suplexes over and over. Lesnar taunted his competitor as he proved he could match his speed. The WWE Champion couldn’t stand as the Universal Champion leveled him repeatedly.

Finally the phenomenal one began to land a little bit offense. He worked the knees and started to mount some offense. However, his big attacks on offense began to fail. A tornado ddt and phenomenal forearm weren’t able to land home.

Suplexes repeatedly kept the WWE champ down on the mat. However, Styles finally landed something big. A 450 splash would land and create some momentum despite the fact that Lesnar was able to kick out of it right after.

As Styles went for a Styles Clash, Lesnar tried to turn it into a F5. Instead, Styles was able to turn it into a calf crusher until his was repeatedly bashed into the mat. After getting some offense back in, Styles had his biggest moment of the match.

He would land a phenomenal forearm and it looked like the beast could be put down. Instead, he went for another and was caught in the air as the crowd watching in Houston began to lose their minds at the incredible dsplay. Lesnar hit him with F5 and was able to bring the win home for his brand.
