Bright face Stoke at the Amex Stadium on Monday, Nov. 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Brighton were widely tipped for relegation ahead of the season, but are in eighth place on 15 points after 11 matches. Chris Hughton’s side have, perhaps, been fortunate at times, as evidenced by their goal difference of zero, but they’re are also an organized defensive unit with some talented players going forward.

The Seagulls’ best attacker this season has been Pascal Gross, who has been directly involved in seven of his team’s 11 goals. Brighton have also received a boost from Glen Murray, who has scored four goals since returning to the starting XI in Tomer Hemed’s absence and will likely feature again against Stoke.

Stoke’s start to the season has been less encouraging. The Potters don’t appear to be in danger of relegation in 14th place on 12 points, but their inconsistency has become a familiar and infuriating feature of the team under Mark Hughes. They’ve beaten Arsenal and taken points off Manchester United this season, while losing to the likes of Bournemouth, Newcastle and Everton.

One bright spot for the Potters has been new signing Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who can play through the middle or out wide, and has helped ease the loss of Marko Arnautovic to West Ham over the summer. He’ll likely have a big role to play against what is likely to be a disciplined Brighton defense.
