Jim Mora is the latest college football coach on the hot seat to be fired. Here are the winners and losers from Week 12.

Another coach has been fired in college football. The UCLA Bruins have decided to move on from Jim Mora and he is just the latest coach to be let go in a season of firings. With the regular season wrapping up, there are going to be plenty of more coaches joining him soon that are currently on the hot seat.

He’s not the first coach to be let go this season, as there have been multiple others. The big question, however, is who’s next? It could just easily be as many as six or seven more notable coaches that could soon be canned.

In Week 12, it was a great week for some coaches. It was as mentioned a terrible one for the others. Here are the winners and losers from Week 12 in the college football season.

Winner – Kevin Sumlin

Kevin Sumlin might already be toast in College Station but he saw the Aggies pull out a much-needed win on Saturday. Trailing Ole Miss in the second half on the road, the Aggies rallied and managed to hold on for the victory.

With the win, they pick up a little momentum before their big road test this upcoming week against LSU. While it might be tough for him to keep his job at this point, adding a road win over the Tigers would certainly help.

His players are playing with plenty of pride for their coach and have given him two wins in a row now. Having eight wins and the potential for a ninth win in bowl season with some quality victories might just be enough to convince everyone to keep him around.
