Monaco and RB Leipzig enter the fifth game of the group stage with both teams still capable of qualifying for the round of 16. Monaco are last in the group with two points, drawing group-leading Beşiktaş in their last game. Leipzig are third in the group with four points, losing 3-2 to Porto in their last game.
In their previous game, Monaco and Leipzig drew 1-1. However, if Monaco loses on Tuesday, they will be eliminated from European competitions. Domestically, Monaco are second in Ligue 1, trailing Paris Saint-Germain by six points. Falcao has been excellent this season, scoring 14 goals but has missed the past four games with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss Tuesday’s game along with Thomas Lemar.
Leipzig drew with Bayer Leverkusen 2-2 over the weekend with Timo Werner and Emil Forsberg scoring. The duo will be depended on to score against Monaco. Werner leads the club with nine goals, while Forsberg has four goals. However, Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side could be without midfield dynamo Naby Keïta could miss Tuesday’s game after suffering an injury over the weekend.
