NFL quarterback rankings, Week 12: Dak Prescott struggling
Joe Montana Division
4. Carson Wentz (Prev: 3)
Wentz drops a spot but stays in the elite division. Why does he drop? Well, he didn’t play well against Dallas, barely completing half his throws. Additionally, Wentz has only hit on 59.7 percent of his throws. That’s concerning, especially come playoff time. Still, he’s an MVP candidate.
3. Russell Wilson (Prev: 4)
Wilson is incredible. Anybody who watched the Monday night game saw his athletic blend of speed, arm and mind. If the Seahawks could run the ball, or block, they would be almost unstoppable with Wilson under center.

2. Drew Brees (Prev: 2)
Brees has to be thrilled. The Saints can finally run the ball, block and play great defense. At 38 years old, Brees has support and good numbers, sporting 2,783 yards, third-best in the NFL. Oh, and the Saints are 8-2.
1. Tom Brady (Prev: 1)
Brady is 40 years old and has a league-leading 3,146 passing yards with 22 touchdowns and only two interceptions. Frankly, he’s the NFL’s best player by a mile.
