Anderlecht face Bayern Munich at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Anderlecht host Bayern Munich in Champions League action. In their previous matchup, Bayern defeated Anderlecht 3-0. Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain have already advanced to the round of 16. Anderlecht are last in the group after losing their first four games but could qualify for Europa League if they finish ahead of Celtic.
In their first four games, Anderlecht have been outscored 15-0. Domestically, Anderlecht are third in the league table, nine points behind Club Brugge but have picked up 10 points in their last four games. If the Belgian club are going to score their first Champions League goal, it will likely come from Henry Onyekuru. Onyekuru was signed by Everton in the summer and immediately loaned to Anderlecht. This season, the 20-year-old has scored eight goals in all competitions.
Bayern have been dominant since replacing Carlo Ancelotti with Jupp Heynckes, winning every game since the managerial change. In their last game, Bayern defeated Augsburg 3-0, with Robert Lewandowski scoring twice. The Polish striker has been Bayern’s best player, scoring 17 goals in 18 games this season. Heynckes decided to rest David Alaba, Jerome Boateng, Sebastian Rudy, and Corentin Tolisso, which will allow Heynckes to rotate his squad.
