Is Empire new tonight, November 22? With the Thanksgiving holiday almost upon us, fans may be wondering if FOX will be airing a new episode of Empire season 4 so close to Turkey Day, when TV shows traditionally take a break.
The answer is no, Empire is not new tonight. FOX is taking that holiday pause, as are many of the broadcast network series this week, and will pick up Empire season 4 next Wednesday, Nov. 29 in the show’s regular 8 p.m. ET time slot.
In the next new episode, which is called “The Lady Doth Protest,” Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) tries to make a deal to help his son Hakeem (Bryshere Gray), but might end up doing more harm than good. Meanwhile, the show will have both Demi Moore and her daughter Rumer Willis in the same episode again, as Rumer returns as Tory Ash.
And Eddie Barker (recurring guest star Forest Whitaker) pushes two of the label’s artists a step too far, leaving them wanting to go on strike. Could they derail the label’s plan for the massive “20 for 20” project and take the whole company down with it?
