David Beaty

The Kansas Jayhawks are a disaster, and there has been zero sign of growth under David Beaty. Three years might be considered a short tenure, but there has to be some plausible growth in that span.

Instead, they’ve only gone backwards, and this program is going to need a miracle if it ever just wants to be competitive again. In three years, they have three wins with Beaty. That’s about as bad as it gets.

Unless they are able to upset Oklahoma State this week in their finale, they will be finishing with just one win. It’s hard to regress from two wins, but somehow the Jayhawks are proving they can.

When a program only wins three games in three years, it’s hard to say what exactly it needs to do first to turn things around. Some might argue not letting a go coach go after three years might be the answer.

That is, of course, unless here has been little to no growth and the program remains in a freefall. There has to be some sort of end in sight here. It’s hard to imagine anyone willing to let this continue forward.
