If your local Walgreens is normally open 24 hours then it will be open and ready for Black Friday. If your nearest Walgreens location isn’t 24 hours then you might call ahead to see if they will open early because even Walgreens has Black Friday savings that can’t be beat.
From housewares to holiday gifts to seasonal decor, Walgreens is a perfect destination if you have items on your shopping list and don’t want to get stuck in the Black Friday mess. It will also be much easier to get into Walgreens for medicine, makeup and light groceries than it will be to get into Walmart or Target.
Given that Thanksgiving is over, pharmacy hours will return to normal on Black Friday if you need to pick up medication but keep in mind that the pharmacy hours don’t always line up with store hours, so be sure to call ahead if you’re not at your local Walgreens location.
