In a huge AFC West matchup, the Denver Broncos will head to the Oakland Coliseum to take on the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon.

The Oakland Raiders will play host to the Denver Broncos this Sunday at the Oakland Coliseum, as they look to get back to their winning ways. Coming off their bye week last weekend, the Raiders laid an egg against the New England Patriots in Mexico City, Mexico, and on Tuesday, they fired defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. Oakland’s problems have been on both sides of the ball this season, so it is surprising they didn’t just fire both coordinators after their slow start.

For Denver, they also fired a coordinator this week, letting offensive coordinator Mike McCoy go on Monday. McCoy was the head coach of the Chargers last season, and is a great offensive mind, but could not get the Broncos offense going this season. He will be replaced by Bill Musgrave, who just happened to have the same role with the Oakland Raiders during the 2016 campaign, when the team went 12-4 and Derek Carr played at an MVP level.

Carr has played well this season, but he has looked a bit lost playing for new offensive coordinator Todd Downing. If they want to beat Denver on Sunday, they are going to have to pass the ball through the No Fly Zone, which has looked very beatable this season. The AFC West has been a roller coaster this season, but with a win on Sunday, the Raiders can move into sole possession of second place if the Chargers lose on  Thanksgiving to the Dallas Cowboys.

Odds

Line: Oakland Raiders (-5.0)

Over/Under: 43.5

The Raiders looked terrible last weekend, but they are still five point favorites against the Broncos on Sunday. The over/under is set at 43.5 points, though it will be hard to make that if the Broncos continue to struggle on offense. This line will change a lot throughout the week, so head on over to OddsShark.com for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction

Oakland gets back on track in this one, as they start to make their push for a possible spot in the AFC Playoffs. Denver has struggled mightily this season, and turning to Paxton Lynch will not play out the way they hope. Look for the Raiders to win this one by ten or more points, as they split the season series with the Broncos

Final Score: Raiders 28 Broncos 17
