In a matchup of two AFC teams looking to get back on the right track, the Buffalo Bills will head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs.
Through the first five weeks of the 2017 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs looked like a favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. However, since that 5-0 start, the Chiefs have won only one of their last five games, and are coming off a horrible loss to the 1-8 New York Giants last weekend. Kansas City will be looking to get back on the right track against a Buffalo Bills team who allowed 54 points to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.
Buffalo made a move to Nathan Peterman at quarterback last weekend, and the rookie proceeded to throw five interceptions in his NFL debut as a starting quarterback. Buffalo was lined up to possibly make a run towards the playoffs, but it appears that ship has sailed. First-year head coach Sean McDermott has made some questionable decisions this season, and you have to wonder if he will eventually lose the locker room.

Kickoff begins at 1:00pm ET, and it will feature two teams who need to start trending in the right direction. Buffalo has looked lost as of late, losing by wide margins, and there is no clear starting quarterback at this point. Kansas City has the talent to be a Super Bowl contender, but you have to wonder what is going on with the team at this point in time.

Fans are starting to clamor for Patrick Mahomes II to take over for Alex Smith as the starting quarterback for Kansas City, and that is nonsense. Smith was playing at an MVP level early in the season, and while he has struggled, this is still his team. Kansas City has a cake schedule the rest of the way, but as we saw last week against the Giants, they may struggle to beat anybody.
