There’s no new episode of Jane the Virgin because of the iHeart Radio Music Festival, but let’s talk about what happened in the episode, “Chapter Seventy.”

Oh, my goodness, Adam, you bastard.

You know that really popular meme of Tyra Banks yelling, “We were all rooting for you!” It’s from America’s Next Top Model, and for a full rundown of where it came from, Buzzfeed breaks it down. But all you really need to know about it is the GIF and the emotion behind Banks’ disappointment toward a contestant that packed so much potential.

Anyway, I am Tyra Banks and Tyler Posey’s Adam is the model who should’ve done better.

I can’t believe that I gave Mr. Teen Wolf a chance to worm his way into my heart and he had the audacity to break up with Jane ON THE DAY OF HER BOOK PARTY.

I’m so happy that he wants to chase his dreams, but he made it about the money. And since we know this isn’t the first time that he chose to walk away from Jane, I just feel so stupid now. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on the Jane the Virgin writers for making Adam so darn likable.

We had to get through the pain of watching Jane jump off a roof for this guy to just up and leave??

I’m going to be mad about it for a while.

Especially if this means she will pursue Rafael again. I’ve officially decided he’s not good enough for either Jane or Petra and kind of hope that he’ll move on with his life and do something else. Where Adam is very likable and fun, Rafael is the opposite. Right in the middle, we have the always wonderful and very missed Michael, but that ship has apparently sailed*.

(*He died, so.)

You know what? I even like Fabian more than I like Rafael. Nevertheless, I can’t wait until Jane the Virgin returns on Dec. 8.
