The Jaguars will hope to keep their hopes for a divisional title alive when they travel to play the Cardinals in Glendale in Week 12.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are somehow staying on top of the AFC South as we enter the last few weeks of the regular season, and they’ll look to keep up their playoff pace against the Arizona Cardinals in the late slate on Sunday.
These two teams couldn’t be more of opposites at this point, with the Jaguars holding less talent but somehow holding a 7-3 record atop their division, and the Cardinals boasting a talented roster riddled with big injuries to their best players, stuck in third place in their division. While their 4-6 record looks bad, they still may be able to keep up with a team like the Jaguars in Week 12.
The Jaguars can struggle at any point with their inconsistent roster, and they’ll need to get off to a hot start if they want to go back to Jacksonville after their game on Sunday with a win over a tough Cardinals defense.
Odds: Jaguars -5, according to Odds Shark
In the perfect example of how the Jaguars are one of the most random 7-3 teams out there in the NFL, they’re only favored by five points against a team that has been without their starting quarterback and star running back for most of the season. While it may not really end up this close, it goes to show just how random of a contender the Jaguars really are.
Next: 10 cities that should host a Super Bowl
This game likely won’t go well for the Cardinals in the end, but the game should be a relatively low-scoring, close battle that likely gets decided in the fourth quarter. At its conclusion, I see the Jaguars pulling out a one-possession win and moving to 8-3 on the year to shock everyone.
Prediction: Jaguars 17, Cardinals 10
