The injury-riddled Packers will travel to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in a primetime matchup on Sunday Night Football. Who will come out on top?
While this game would’ve meant a lot more a few months ago before the serious shoulder injury Aaron Rodgers suffered, the Green Bay Packers must keep moving forward to their Sunday Night Football battle with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12.
The Packers haven’t been able to capture the same momentum with Brett Hundley under center as they might have with Rodgers, winning just one of their last five games. They’ve fallen to third in the NFC North, and likely won’t be able to climb out of that hole with the Minnesota Vikings surging like they are.
Meanwhile, the Steelers are rolling in the AFC North, and currently hold the top seed in the AFC heading into Week 12 if the playoffs were to start today. They’re clicking on all cylinders, and this game could (and should) be a relatively easy win for a team as talented as the Steelers are.
Odds: Steelers -14, according to Odds Shark
This game likely shouldn’t even be showcased on Sunday Night Football, given the serious mismatch that you see on both sides of the ball. The Packers aren’t the same team without Rodgers under center, and they won’t be able to keep up with a talented Steelers squad that has seen the reemergence of Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger in the passing game.

I see the Steelers offense exploding in this one, likely getting LeVeon Bell involved much more and still keeping up with the momentum and chemistry that Brown and Roethlisberger set last week in their Thursday Night Football matchup with the Tennessee Titans. It should get ugly quickly, and you should be able to get to bed early before you head back to work after the Thanksgiving break.
Prediction: Steelers 34, Packers 13
