The Seahawks saw how much their injuries impact them when they played on Monday Night Football. Now, they’ll hope to bounce back against the 49ers.

The Seattle Seahawks came up just short against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in Week 11, and it proved just how tough the rest of the way will be for their team with a battered version of the Legion of Boom in the secondary. Now, they’ll need to adjust quickly to get ready for a divisional battle on Sunday.

The Seahawks will travel to take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, and will need to put their 34-31 loss behind them on a short week that may get even shorter with Thanksgiving smack dab in the middle of their preparations. They’re still trying their best to keep up in the NFC West race at the moment, and this divisional matchup could loom large in their race to the finish line in 2017.

The 49ers are looking to keep up some momentum from their first win of the season two weeks ago with a 31-21 win over the New York Giants before their bye week kicked in. They may want to get Jimmy Garoppolo involved in the next few weeks to see how he does in a 49ers uniform, but their win definitely complicates that whole situation, as well.

This one could be a fun one now that the 49ers won a game for once, and it’ll be interesting to see if they keep pursuing another or look to tank to finish out the season. They could take advantage of the Seahawks’ weakened secondary, and potentially have an offensive field day when Sunday rolls around.

I still believe, even with a battered defense, that the Seahawks will meet the odds and make this one a two-possession game before all is said and done as they bounce back in a big way from their Week 11 loss.

Prediction: Seahawks 27, 49ers 13
