Is Once Upon A Time new tonight, November 24? Fans may be wondering is Once Upon A Time on tonight, considering that it’s the day after Thanksgiving, not to mention how the ABC series left it all last week!
We can tell you that this Friday will be one without fairytale magic, as Once Upon A Time is not new tonight, and its absence is actually not connected to the holiday whatsoever (although ABC is using its 8 p.m. time slot to air a Christmas special).
The two episodes that aired back to back last week served as the Once Upon A Time season 7 midseason finale. The show was already scheduled to take its break after “Pretty In Blue” and “Eloise Gardener,” even though both those episodes left us wanting more.
The good news for fans is that the OUAT season 7 holiday break is a relatively short one. The series returns in two weeks, on Friday, Dec. 8 with the next new episode. While ABC has not yet released an official description so we can’t tell you what it’s about, we can tell you that it’s called “A Little Tear.”
That probably doesn’t inspire confidence, does it?
Regardless, it won’t be too terribly long until Henry (Andrew J. West) and Jacinda (Dania Ramirez) are back on our small screens, which is good since they just had their big romantic moment! We want to see if they’ll live happily ever after—once the show finishes throwing more obstacles in their way, that is.
Now that you can answer “Is Once Upon A Time new tonight?” and you know that there’s not one, but two weeks without it, that’s plenty of time to start speculating on what will happen in the new episodes.
