There’s no time of the college football season quite like the last full weekend of the sport. That’s where we’ve finally arrived in the 2017 regular season. Thus, the good people at ESPN College GameDay were left with a big decision. When it comes to this time of year, they are looking for the best and biggest game to be present for. Though there are plenty of massive ones, it ultimately made sense to head to the Iron Bowl as Auburn hosts Alabama.

With the Auburn Tigers ranked sixth in the country, they are in the hunt heavily to make it to the College Football Playoff. And you know what would really get them into the mix for that? Knocking off the top-ranked team in the CFP rankings. That’s what they have to accomplish in Saturday’s rivalry matchup as the Crimson Tide remain unbeaten and rolling.

However, the thing about the Iron Bowl is that Auburn and Alabama are two of the best fanbases in all of the sport. They always turn out to support their team, no matter the occasion. But when it comes to the two teams facing off, the ante is upped tenfold.
