Ā College Football Picks Against the spread early November 25, 2017

I had a decent week in college football pick em. I needed better than decent, but after last week, I’ll take it. Most of my picks against the spread went pretty well, I think. I came out in the black in the games I bet, but I haven’t tallied up all the games yet.

More from College Football Odds

For those of you that are new here, I put myself out there every week. For the last six years, I have picked every single college football game. Sounds easy, right? I thought so too. So I have picked them all against the spread. That significantly increases the degree of difficulty.

I take the average of the odds from the six major Vegas casinos and round that to the nearest half point. There will be no ties here. Ties are for the other football.

Some site will sell you top ten picks for a fee. Some will even give you a couple of free picks to lure you in. This is every game picked, all for free.

I will assign a point value ā€œbetā€ on each game, between one and five points. That way you can see just how confident I am in each pick. Look for those at the end of each line.

I cannot be responsible for you losing any of your worldly possessions, significant others, or limbs to a loan shark. This is for entertainment purposes only! I am a simple person. I cannot have that on my conscience.

We have a huge week of college football this week! All 62 games are FBS vs. FBS tilts. Rivalry week continues with 16 games that kick off between noon and 2pm eastern time. Let’s check those spreads!

(7)Georgia(-10.5) at Georgia Tech(3): Georgia Tech didn’t stay as close as the score suggested against Miami. Why? Miami stopped the run in its tracks. Georgia’s defense is good enough to do the same. I have to go with Georgia here.

(9)Ohio State(-12.5) at (24)Michigan(1): I never trust the line in this game. Most of the experts are all over Ohio State, and I see why. Michigan better hope that Brandon Peters can go. If not, they are in a whole heap of trouble. That said, Michigan’s defense is good enough to shut down the Ohio State offense. I’m taking Michigan and the points at home.

Kansas at (13)Oklahoma State(-40.5)(3): Okay, Oklahoma didn’t even cover by this. I just watched this Cowboys defense give up 45 points in basically three quarters to Kansas State. This line is too high. Give me Kansas.

East Carolina at (21)Memphis(-28.5)(2): This looks kind of high. The ECU offense has at least been respectable lately. I’ll take the Pirates because of that half!

Florida State(-5.5) at Florida(2): I don’t really trust this line. Quite honestly, neither team has been impressive. A bowl is in sight for the winner. The other faces ridicule for another year. I tend to think that the Gators keep this within a field goal at home. Give me Florida.Ā

Louisville(-10.5) at Kentucky(1): This looks high, but Kentucky has looked like a team that likes to lose. I don’t see the Kentucky defense containing Jackson, but I really don’t like that half either. Ugh. Give me Kentucky, I guess.Ā

Indiana at Purdue(-2.5)(2): This line looks backwards to me. I like Indiana’s offense a lot more, so give me the Hoosiers.

Connecticut at Cincinnati(-5.5)(3): Really? Cincinnati just got blown out by East Carolina. I’ll take the Huskies, even on the road.Ā

Tulane at SMU(-7.5)(4): I like what Tulane has done this year, but I don’t think they can handle this SMU offense. I’ll take the Ponies.Ā

Boston College(-3.5) at Syracuse(5): This looks low. I know the Cuse are tough in the Carrier Dome, but this team is completely lost without Eric Dungey. Give me BC.

Duke at Wake Forest(-11.5)(3): I don’t really disagree with this line, but Duke has played well once or twice this year. Knowing my luck, they would here. Ha! Nice try! I’m not going against Wake at home.Ā

North Texas(-12.5) at Rice(2):Ā Where did this come from? North Texas has been the far better team, but winning by double digits on the road could be tough for them. I just cant take Rice though. Give me the Mean Green.

UTEP at UAB(-20.5)(2): I like UAB as much as the next football fan, but wow. That’s a lot of points! If I had any doubt that UTEP was the worst FBS team, I shouldn’t anymore. This line says it all. Give me UAB.

Appalachian State(-6.5) at Georgia State(3): The Panthers are a solid team. This is going to be a tough one in Atlanta,Ā  but Appalachian is still the class of the Sun Belt until someone proves otherwise. I’ll take the Mountaineers.Ā

Florida Atlantic(-22.5) at Charlotte(4): I’m quite sure this is too low. Lane Kiffin is running it up because he wants a better job for next year. This is going to get ugly fast. FAU by a lot!

Southern Mississippi at Marshall(-2.5)(3): This line is dropping fast. It has gone too low though. I still like Marshall by a touchdown or so. Give me the Herd.
