The Florida State Seminoles face the Florida Gators on Saturday, Nov. 25 in college football week 13, and here is all the info you need to watch.

Both the Seminoles and the Gators have had seasons to forget. Coming into the 2017 season, the Seminoles were expected to be playoff contenders. When Deondre Francois went down, so did the hopes of all Florida State fans. Florida was expected to compete for the SEC crown this year, and those hopes have fallen flat as well. Jim McElwain is out as head coach, and Jimbo Fisher could be moving on as well as the rumored top target for Texas A&M.

After Francois went down, Florida State has had to turn to a true freshman in Justin Blackman. He has thrown for over 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns. One of the hopes for the season was to have Cam Akers come in and start to replace Dalvin Cook, and he has started to go on that path. Akers has over 770 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Florida State is definitely building for the future, and a win in this game will keep them on that path.

When McElwain was brought in to coach this team, he was expected to light a fire in the offense. Instead, Florida is in the same spot they were when McElwain was hired. This year, the quarterback position has been a carousel. They are going back to their best option, hoping to build for the future. Felipe Franks has thrown for over 1,250 yards and seven touchdowns. Lamical Perine has rushed for over 540 yards and eight touchdowns. Franks’ top target has been Tyrie Cleveland this season who has over 390 passing yards and two receiving touchdowns. The Gators are ready to change their culture, and these players are going to help with that.
