Liverpool and Chelsea drew 1-1 at Anfield on Saturday, Nov. 25. Here are all the highlights from the Premier League match.

Liverpool and Chelsea played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Anfield on Saturday, with Mohamed Salah giving the home side the lead before Willian’s late, probably accidental equalizer ensured the teams shared the points.

Jurgen Klopp made two big changes to his starting XI, with Daniel Sturridge and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain coming in for Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, and the two were busy early on as Liverpool pressed their opponents aggressively.

Mohamed Salah was the Reds’ most dangerous player, and their best moments came when they were able to isolate him against Marcos Alonso down Chelsea’s left. Still, for all their good work around the area, the home side couldn’t test Thibaut Courtois.

The Blues were happy to drop off and try to hit Liverpool on the break. Eden Hazard was the star of the show, drawing (and usually beating) multiple Liverpool defenders every time he got the ball.

The Belgian was involved in all of Chelsea best moments, forcing Simon Mignolet into the first good save of the match in the 21st minute, before almost playing in Danny Drinkwater, who could round Mignolet when through on goal.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with the Reds forcing Chelsea back for long stretches, but Chelsea looking dangerous when they were able to break the home side’s press.

Salah got the opening goal in the 65th minute, rolling the ball past Courtois after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s poked pass. It was a composed finished and just reward for an excellent performance.

Chelsea responded well, however, and equalized in the 85th minute. Willian, on as a substitute, appeared to be trying to cross the ball to several Chelsea players lined up at the back post, and his effort  wrong-footed Mignolet on its way in at the back post.
