Real Madrid return to La Liga action after thrashing Apoel 6-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday. The Madridistas are hoping to close the 10-point gap between them and Barcelona, as their eternal rivals play away at second-place Valencia.
Zinedine Zidane may be able to count on Gareth Bale as the Welshman has returned to practice. Keylor Navas is also back in training although it is unlikely to be ready for Saturday’s game. Kiki Casilla will most likely continue to feature in goal.
Sergio Ramos suffered a nose injury and will need a fitted protective mask to be able to feature against Malaga. Marco Asensio will be unavailable due to injuries.
Malaga are struggling this season, currently in 18th place. They are winless in their last 16 games at the Bernabeu and are unlikely to come away with any points given the lack of quality in the squad and Real’s motivation to stay in the title race.
