Itās already Week 12 in the NFL season and the fantasy regular season is drawing to a close. Owners need to know who they can start and sit.
This is shaping up to be another fun week in fantasy football and there is a full day of Thanksgiving football to enjoy! Owners will have to make sure their lineup is ready to go a touch earlier than normal this week and there are decisions to make just like any other week. There are a couple of big-name players who are in phenomenal spots and at least one elite running back that may need to be benched. There are also two tight ends who could be a massive help for owners who are trying to stream the position. The first player could be fairly obvious if owners remember what he pulled off in Week 10.

Start: Cam Newton, QB ā Carolina Panthers
Coming off of the bye week, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is in a terrific spot against the New York Jets. The last time Newton was on the field, he was making NFL history by throwing for four touchdowns and rushing for 90+ yards. Itās only the third time that has ever happened and Newton has done it twice now. Looking towards this week, Newton and the Panthers travel to New York to face the Jets.
Newton has always been boom or bust and even on the road, this looks like a second consecutive boom week. The Jets donāt have a very good defense and the Panthers offense really clicked versus Miami two weeks ago. It seems odd that the offense has played better without receiver Kelvin Benjamin, but that has been the case thus far. Not only do the Panthers have extra time to gameplan, they also should get tight end Greg Olsen back from injury. He likely will be somewhat limited in his first game back from his broken foot. He can still make an impact towards the red-zone. Newton will have all his weapons back in the lineup and always carries huge upside with his rushing ability. Owners should feel confident this week playing Newton.
