Is The Gifted new tonight, November 27? Fans of FOX‘s new Marvel series may be curious to know is The Gifted on tonight since Monday is the first broadcast day following the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
The answer is no, the series is not new tonight. The Gifted season 1 is taking a small break on Nov. 27 as FOX allows all of its Monday programming a bit of a breather (perhaps getting the network’s holiday pause in late since new episodes aired during Thanksgiving week).
But wait! That’s not all fans need to know. While there’s not a new episode on Monday, we can answer “Is The Gifted on tonight?” in the affirmative.
The network is giving us a repeat of the series premiere “eXposed” in the show’s regular 9 p.m. time slot, so if you missed the first episode, or if you just want to get a refresher on the Mutant Underground and the Strucker family, you can still tune in as usual and take a trip back to how it all began.
The Gifted season 1 will resume next Monday, Dec. 4 with “outfoX” as the Mutant Underground has to deal with what Reed Strucker (Stephen Moyer) found out last week. How will it impact their plan to save the mutants captured by Sentinel Services?
Because Polaris (Emma Dumont) and the crew won’t rest until they’ve saved the others who’ve been turned into involuntary soldiers by the nefarious Dr. Roderick Campbell (Garret Dillahunt) and Trask Industries.
We’ll have to wait one more week to find out what the Mutant Underground has in store (and if Jace Turner or anyone at Sentinel Services will realize that Campbell is crazy). But at least you can still watch the first episode and get caught up before the action resumes next Monday. Because you won’t want to miss it when both sides of the X-Men universe drama finally go head to head.
