Tonight’s episode of Supergirl kicks off the two-day, four-way crossover event for The CW’s Arrowverse and we’ve got the details to watch Supergirl online.
Every time we have a crossover, I find myself wondering why I don’t watch any other CW superhero show. It takes me a few minutes before I realize that A) I still don’t like The Flash‘s casting, either on TV or in Justice League, and B) I haven’t heard a ton of good things about Arrow. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about how the females are portrayed and I know Felicity Smoak’s a really divisive character for the fandom, but that’s about it.

And since Supergirl has enough problems, I don’t really want to spread my wings in the Arrowverse. Which means, it’s hard to enjoy crossovers. It’s really just another reason for someone else to eat up Kara Danvers’ screentime.
So, let’s look at the synopsis for the crossover event of Supergirl, courtesy of TV Guide:
"Part 1 of 4. Barry and Iris’s wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes join forces to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes–Green Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash and White Canary–lead their teams into battle to save the world."
It’s even harder to care about this crossover thanks to its Nazi backdrop and the fact that we’ll have to meet Overgirl, who is basically Supergirl in Schutzstaffel uniform. (Depressing, at best.) However, as soon as this is out of the way, we’ll head back into ultimate Reign mode. I’m so hyped for the Reign storyline, and I have a lot to say about it. But I’ll save that for next week.
