DraftKings NBA picks November 28: Is It Safe To Use LeBron Again?
We are down to five games for out Tuesday night. There is a smaller player pool to choose from, but there are still some stars out there. Should we pay for LeBron on the second night of a back to back, or should we use Giannis instead? Let check some stats and trends!

The money line was solid at 266.25 points. My lineups each missed because of poor value plays and the injuries to Blake Griffin and Ben Simmons.
The winning lineup was up a ways to 361.75 points. He got value form Cory Joseph, Smart, KCP, and LouWill to go with huge nights from Drummond and Aldridge.

Point Guards
Best Bets:
Goran Dragic ($7,500): Dragic had a nice matchup against the Bulls on Sunday and turned it into a subpar performance. Bottom line: Dragic is a risk against anyone. He still has the ability to his between 5 and 6x value, but nothing is certain. That said, this is a very weak position today.
Eric Bledsoe ($6,600): The Kings have actually been respectable against the point this year. That said, Bledsoe has at least 35 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. Bledsoe appears to have been the missing link. This Milwaukee offense has been humming along lately.
Honorable Mention:
Donovan Mitchell ($6,500): Mitchell is quickly becoming the Utah guard to use. Rubio still isnāt much of a shooter. Mitchell isnāt as much of a threat as a passer, but he is a better passer than Rubio is a shooter. I trust Mitchell more than anyone else in the Utah backcourt right now.
Jerian Grant ($4,700): It seems as though the Bulls are going to ride the hot hand at the point. That makes both Dunn and Grant big risks. Dunn has been down lately, but there is a chance that he can snap out of it. Grant has been the much more reliable option, but how long will that last?
Dark Horses:
Mike James ($4,600): James lit up the Timberwolves on Sunday. Statistically, the Bulls are even worse defending the point than Minnesota is. You can take a chance on a Bull if you want, but I would much rather roll the dice with a Sun. Both of them could be worth a look against Chicago. There will be plenty to go around against the Bulls.
Tim Frazier ($4,100): With Wall out, Frazier has been a steady source of fantasy production at a reasonable price. Even if Jeff Teague it out again, I would rather go with Fraizer than Tyus Jones, though I would say both are better options than anyone in the middle tier.
My pick: James(PG), Frazier(G); Bledsoe(PG), Mitchell(G), James(UTIL)

Shooting Guards:
Best Bets:
Bradley Beal ($7,900): Beal has carried the load in the games that John Wall has missed this year. That gives Beal a chance to put up big numbers no matter who the opponent so long asĀ Wall is out. Minnesota has been pretty good against shooting guards, but pretty good may not cut it against Beal.
Jimmy Butler ($7,200): Butler has been hot from the field lately, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Only Charlotte, San Antonio, and Golden State have been able to slow him down over the last two weeks. Washington isnāt quite on that level.
Honorable Mention:
Dion Waiters ($6,200): Waiters is still about as inconsistent as they come. That said, Clevelandās beat up guard corps have been lit up from the perimeter, especially from the SG slot Waitersā percentages are still the best of his career so far. He has a chance to rack up some serious value tonight.
Denzel Valentine ($5,600): Valentine only got 23.75 DraftKings points in his first game against the Suns, but he is a much larger part of the offense right now. Valentine still isnāt the most consistent guy, but he has topped 40 DraftKings points twice in the last four games. He has a shot to do that against Phoenix as well.
Dark Horses:
Dwyane Wade ($5,300): This is a revenge game for Wade. He looked good against the Heat last year, and I am guessing that he still wants to stick it to them for the way things ended in South Beach. Wade isnāt capable of dropping 50, but I wouldnāt be shocked to see him hit 40 DraftKings points tonight.
Tyler Johnson ($4,200): Most of the time I want nothing to do with Johnson unless someone from the Heat backcourt is out. His production is too inconsistent with everyone healthy. I will make an exception against a Cleveland team that canāt guard anyone on the outside. 6x value is a near certainty here tonight.
My pick: Valentine(SG), Wade(UTIL); Waiters(SG)

Small Forwards:
Best Bets:
LeBron James ($11,300): Yeah, I know. LeBron never had a real beef with Miami anyway. Although it does always seem like he steps it up a notch for big games. The media still makes this into a big deal. I would bet LeBron puts up some nice numbers before resting for the rest of the night with the game well in hand.
T.J. Warren ($7,300): I canāt make a compelling enough argument to myself to warrant playing Giannis tonight. He may be the best player in the game, but the Bucks are going to blow out a gassed Kings team that ran with the Warriors in Oakland last night. I doubt Giannis hits value at his price, so I will move on to Warren, who has cooled off recently, but its nothing a date with the Bulls canāt fix.
Honorable Mention:
Andrew Wiggins ($6,900): Wiggins has three straight games of 32 or moreĀ DraftKings points. He and Butler are showing the ability to play well together. They get the benefit of facing a Washington team that is spread a little thin without Wall. They couldnāt guard the perimeter all that well anyway. i prefer Butler if you are only using one, but using both isnāt the worst idea on a short slate.
Otto Porter ($6,400): Porter picked up quite a bit of the scoring slack with Wall out on Saturday. Expect this to be a trend going forward as well. Teams are going to key on Beal. Porter is the guy that can make them pay for doing so. Porter looks like a strong option against Minnesota tonight.
Dark Horses:
Justin Holiday ($5,500): Holiday only put up 25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Suns, and he appears to have taken a back seat to Valentine lately. That makes him a sizeable risk tonight, but his numbers have not been horrible aside from games against Utah and Golden State. If you takeĀ those out, his price shouldnāt be this low. He can easily hit value against the Suns.
Wayne Ellington ($3,600): Ellington is averaging 17.5 points per game over the last six outings. He wont always score like this, but as long as Ellington remains hot, he is worth a look. The Cavs donāt defend the wings well, so I am all about using Miami value shooters from the perimeter tonight.
My pick: James(SF), Warren(F); Porter(SF)

Power Forwards
Best Bet:
Kevin Love ($7,200): All three of the top small forwards are also eligible here, so the position flexibility is nice. Due to this, Love may go overlooked. He is riding a six game streak of more than 30 DraftKings points, and he has topped that in eight of nine. He has been pretty consistent up front lately, and has the tools to stick it to Miami down low.
Lauri Markkanen ($6,700): Markkanen chewed up the Suns for 47.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting between these teams. That number may go down a little with Portis in the picture, and I donāt like this play at all if Mirotic is back, but Chicago has no reason not to keep running Markkanen. Outside of Ben Simmons, he has been the most consistent rookie so far.
Honorable Mention:
Derrick Favors ($6,300): Favors picked up 26.5 DraftKings points against Denver in the first meeting, and that was with a healthy Rudy Gobert. Favors has a much larger role on the team now and should be able to build on that outing. Favors could be a nice pick against Denver, especially with Millsap out and the coaching staff unwilling to unleash Faried.
James Johnson ($5,900): Cleveland has a lot of really good players, but most of them are not great defenders. That puts Johnson in play again. He is losing some minutes to Justise Winslow, but Johnson is so consistently good that he always finds himself in the game when it counts. Winslow isnāt that much of a threat yet, but it is something that needs to be monitored.
Dark Horses:
Zach Randolph ($5,500): The Kings are finally putting something good together up front with Randolph and Cauley-Stein. The role for Cauley-Stein is still in flux, but it isnāt for Randolph. He starts and plays about 30 minutes per game. He puts up about a DraftKings point per minute. There are plenty of worse value plays.
Kenneth Faried ($3,900): Malone does some of the dumbest coaching moves in the NBA, so using Faried is always a risk. Considering that Utah has a stacked and massive frontcourt, Faried should start this game. However, this is a late tip and DraftKings still locks the big tournaments at the start of the first game. You are taking a massive risk with Faried, but it could be worth it.
My pick: Markkanen(PF); Johnson(PF)

Center:
Best Bets:
Nikola Jokic ($8,700): I can honestly say that I hate every top six option at center tonight. Of course, two of them are hurt, but there are some terrible matchups here. Towns is going against the second best team in the league in allowing fantasy points to centers. Whiteside has not hit value in five games. He hasnāt even hit 4x value in that span! Jokic with Gobert out is as good as it gets at the top, and itās still not that good.
Hassan Whiteside ($8,500): I could give at least a half dozen good reasons not to use Whiteside here. Easily. But come on, itās Cleveland up front with no Tristan! This should be a place where Whiteside thrives! Are you brave enough to take that chance?
Honorable Mention:
Willie Cauley-Stein ($5,100): Much like Hield, Cauley-Stein has thrived with a move to the bench. Itās not an ideal long term solution, but getting these guys confidence is the key to the Kings future. WCS has at least 30 DraftKings points in five out of his last six games. Thatās good enough for me against a Milwaukee team that still doesnāt have a center that they are willing to play.
Robin Lopez ($4,900): Lopez picked up 29.5 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Phoenix. Lopez is worth using in the right matchup. This appears to be one, but he has little upside because Lopez is not much of an offensive threat.
Dark Horse:
John Henson ($4,700): Henson held his own against Utah, so he should be pretty safe to use against anyone. He is an afterthought on offense and a place holder on defense, so there isnāt much for upside here, but Henson routinely hits 5-7x value. He could against the Kings as well.
My pick: Cauley-Stein(C); Jokic(C), Cauley-Stein(F)
