More from DraftKings

The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from

We have 10 of the 16 teams in action tonight (this afternoon if you are stateside), making this the larger DraftKings tournament of round 10.

Guards:

There are several upper tier guards going today, with a whole bunch of midrange options.

Alexey Shved ($12,800): There are fewer consistent stars in the Euroleague than the NBA. Shved is one of those unquestioned stars. He has averaged 32.6 DraftKings points per game over the previous nine rounds. This is a good matchup with Bromberg, and Shved is never going to leave you will less than 25 DraftKings points. In the EL, that can be huge. The only other option I would consider up here is Brad Wanamaker.

Jordan Theodore ($10,100): Efes has allowed the most points in the Euro League this season. With Goudelock out, Theodore has shouldered much of the scoring load. Curtis Jerrells is worth a look if you are going cheap, but his inconsistency could just as easily land you in the outhouse as the penthouse.

As I mentioned above, there are several great middle tier options with great matchups. Pierre Jackson and Kevin Pangos face each other, but neither are good defenders. Ricky Hickman has been great lately with Bamberg’s come from behind victories.

Those of you looking to gamble in GPP formats should take a look at Ricky Ledo. Milan is the worst team in the league in fantasy points allowed to guards. Ledo’s inconsistency makes him harder to use, but here it may be worth the risk.

Errick McCollum ($8,000): He has been awesome in two wins for Efes and atrocious in most of the seven losses. After two big games in a row, McCollum laid an egg in round nine playing just 15 minutes and shooting just four times. This could be the best chance for Efes to get out of the cellar, so McCollum could be worth using.

Janis Strelnieks ($5,000): No matter which options you choose for your top ones, you have to have Strelnieks for financial relief. Strelnieks has at least 20 DraftKings points in four straight starts. He isn’t heading to the bench anytime soon, so Streknieks is by far the best punt option.

ATLANTA, GA – MARCH 06: Dorell Wright #4 of the Philadelphia 76ers drives past Kyle Korver #26 of the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena on March 6, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia (Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)

Forwards:

Dorell Wright ($10,500): Wright had easily his worst game of the season in round nine, but he is a prime bounce back option here. Thomas Robinson will be out for Khimki, which means they don’t really have anyone to tangle with Wright down low. He should bounce back in a big way. For those of you that still don’t trust Wright (and I don’t blame you), Shengelia is the more reliable option.

Bryant Dunston ($9,400): Dunston has been a consistent force for Efes down low. Milan is not a great defensive team, so Dunston should get plenty of chances. This Efes unit runs better when McCollum is scoring on the outside as well. Stacking McCollum and Dunston could be a lucrative boom or bust pick for GPP’s

Arturas Gudaitis ($8,400): Gudaitis has picked up 58 DraftKings points in the last two rounds, erasing his poor start to the season. He is the main weapon inside for Milan against that terrible Efes defense. Kaleb Tarczewski is cheap, and is also worth a look here. If you have the extra cash, Beaubois is always worth a look when healthy.
