Carm and Kayla episode 42 predicts who will advance to the College Football Playoff and whether LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are better off apart.
College football Championship Weekend is here after an amazingly entertaining Rivalry weekend that saw Alabama drop out of the top four. Congrats to the Auburn Tigers, but stay ready playing Georgia in Atlanta. The Tigers took care of the Bulldogs before, but this one feels like it will be a lot closer than the 40-17 November 11 final. Special teams killed the dogs in that one. Don’t expect a repeat.
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving sure don’t act like they miss each other. LeBron is getting all the shots he wants in the fourth quarter and Kyrie is already beloved in Boston with the Celtics owning the best record in the Eastern Conference. The regular season is not the playoffs though and are these two truly better apart?
Derrick Rose is weighing whether or not he wants to push through another injury, this time his ankle. Cleveland doesn’t need Rose, but leaving the game now seems wrong for Rose. Elsewhere, Oklahoma City beat Golden State, but the Thunder are still trying to find consistency.
The NFL playoffs are going to be extremely competitive with no dominant team in the NFC or AFC. We take a look at how Pittsburgh matches up with New England and also the continuing-to-impress Philadelphia Eagles. Carson Wentz looks like Prince Harry, who is engaged, and he is playing quarterback like John Elway in his prime. Wentz’s stats are not quite as good as Tom Brady’s, but he very well may end up the MVP.
Throwing out the garbage before you head for Thanksgiving work break should be a prerequisite for any organization or workplace. The Chicago Bears are still working on that one and had the fish smell to prove it.
