Week 13 of the college football season has come and gone. The regular season is officially over with. For many teams, their season has come to an end and the program won’t take the field again until next August.
For others, the conference championships will decide what’s next for them. Everyone is awaiting the final College Football Playoff poll and bowl announcements to be made to figure out where they will be playing next.
Some of the top 32 NFL Draft prospects are done for the year and others will be playing this weekend in the conference championships. Regardless, the final opportunity to see most of them play is drawing near. Here are the top 32 NFL Draft prospects heading into championship weekend.
Mason Rudolph ended his Oklahoma State career with a bang against the Kansas Jayhawks. The quarterback threw for 438 yards and two touchdowns. He was also 31/43 passing the football through the air.
What a year it was for the senior quarterback as well. He threw for 4,533 yards and 35 touchdowns to just nine interceptions. He elevated his draft stock quite a bit and will be a favorite come draft time.
The big question is going to be where he ranks among all the quarterbacks. With the potential for some quarterbacks to return to school, Rudolph could very well shoot his draft stock up even higher with a great draft season.
By the nature of the position, Rudolph has everything to gain going forward and he’s going to keep climbing plenty of big boards. He put up the strong showing in his final season that he needed to show.
After returning for the final two games of the season for the Texas Longhorns, Connor Williams has officially declared for the NFL Draft. This comes as a surprise to no one, as the talented tackle is one of the top prospects overall.
Williams missed most of the season after suffering a leg injury early this year, but he fought hard to get back on the field and showed incredible toughness in the process. While he would have liked to have played a full season, the tackle should be a high pick.
His tape coming into this year had many drooling over him and lofty comparisons were heaped upon him. Now, he’ll be able to focus on what’s next and hope that he can grade out just as well if not better than the other tackles in his class.
The Longhorns would lose their final game of the regular season against Texas Tech. However, the Longhorns would see a big improvement in their running game in Williams’ return game against West Virginia.
