This game will be a rematch from Week 11. No. 10 Auburn shellacked No. 1 Georgia to the tune of 40-17 down on The Plains at Jordan-Hare Stadium in the 121st meeting of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry. Auburn and Georgia have played almost annually every year since 1892. This is the best cross-divisional rivalry in college football. These two fan bases absolutely hate each other.

Interestingly, this will be the first time that these two rival SEC schools will meet in the SEC Championship Game. Auburn has won the SEC West six times, most recently in 2013. Georgia has won the SEC East six times, most recently in 2012. This rivalry is about to beĀ amplifiedĀ Saturday afternoon in Atlanta, so let’s get to it!
