More from DraftKings

DraftKings has brought the Euro League state side! They even have an app where we can watch the games that our picks are involved in!

The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from

Yesterday’s winner picked up 213 points. He built around Shved and Jonah Bolden while getting nice value from Bryce Taylor and Vladimir Stimac.

LOS ANGELES, CA – MARCH 11: Guard Taylor Rochestie #10 of the Washington State Cougars drives in the second half against the Oregon Ducks during the Pacific Life Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Tournament at the Staples Center on March 11, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Harry How/Getty Images)

Guards:

Most guards today have tough matchups. Even Luka Doncic may be worth fading against Belgrade, the third best team in the league against guards. Nando de Colo has a tilt with fourth ranked Barcelona Lassa. Huertel takes on second ranked CKSA Moscow.

Nick Calathes ($12,400): I like Calathes over Doncic based on matchup. Malaga is the third worst team in the league defending guards. Calalthes has a superb 126.75 DraftKings points over the last three rounds. He is dominating right now, and putting up better numbers than anyone else in that span. I’m hitching my wagon to him today.

Taylor Rochestie ($11,500): It’s a close call between Rochestie and Sergio Rodriguez, but this is another one based on matchup. Rochestie had his first bad game of the season in round nine. That could keep ownership pretty low. Real Madrid is very talented, but they don’t defend the perimeter all that well.

Cory Higgins ($6,000): Sergio grabs all the headlines, but Higgins has been a nice sidekick to Rodriguez on the perimeter. Higgins has scored in double digits in each of the last four games, and has raised his minutes total to just over half the game. I can’t afford Batman, so I’ll take Robin.

BEIJING – AUGUST 22: Rudy Fernandez #5 of Spain falls into the front row while taking on Lithuania during a men’s semifinal baketball game at the Wukesong Indoor Stadium on Day 14 of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games on August 22, 2008 in Beijing, China. (Photo by Jed Jacobsohn/Getty Images)

Forwards:

Milko Bjelica ($9,200): Real Madrid is decimated up front. That is where my value plays are coming from, but it also makes sense to attack them from the other side as well. All three listed centers are out for Real Madrid tonight. Bjelica has a great chance to get back to his superb early season production.

Rudy Fernandez ($5,700): Real Madrid has leaned heavily on Fernandez with all of the injuries up front. The veteran Euro League star had his best game of the season last round against Athens. Look for him to attack a Belgrade interior that has struggled.

Trey Thompkins ($5,000): Remember what I said about Madrid being down all three centers? Thompkins has been thrust into the starting center role, and has done pretty well. In four games, Thompkins is shooting nearly 50% wtih 28 points and 20 rebounds. He also had a good game against Athens last week. That should be repeatable against Belgrade today.
