Eagles at Seahawks: Preview, prediction, odds and pick

PHILADELPHIA, PA - NOVEMBER 05: Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery
PHILADELPHIA, PA - NOVEMBER 05: Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery

The Eagles are the hottest team in the NFC heading into Week 13, but can they survive a bird battle in Seattle against the Seahawks on Sunday night?

The Philadelphia Eagles are, without a doubt, the most fun team to follow in the NFC at the moment, and they could likely take that title in the entire NFL at this point in the season, too. Now, they’ll get the chance to showcase their skills on Sunday Night Football in Seattle.

While the Eagles have been incredibly hot, rolling to their current 10-1 record atop the entire conference, their fellow birds in the NFC are also looking to make some noise on their road to the postseason. The Seattle Seahawks may be dealing with a hindered defense at the moment, but the true test for the Eagles will be going up against the 12’s on the road in a huge primetime game.

Carson Wentz has been playing like an MVP over the team’s first 11 games, and now is the time where we will see if the Eagles quarterback can keep up the pace and show he deserves the award, or if he’ll falter and lose his team the opportunity for homefield advantage in the postseason.

Odds: Eagles -5.5, according to Odds Shark

The Eagles are far too hot at this point in the year to falter to a defense like the Seahawks’, and what’s even scarier is the fact that this offense seems like they’re just getting started. Their team is beginning to have a ton of fun on the field, and the fans are all getting behind them at the right time, making this a difficult team to play no matter where you are.

I see the Eagles continuing their run with a big win against the Seahawks, moving to 11-1 and showing the world in a primetime game why they belong in the possible Super Bowl conversation.

Prediction: Eagles 31, Seahawks 17
