Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans live stream: How to watch
By John Buhler
The Tennessee Titans will host the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon in Week 13. Here is how to watch this AFC South rivalry game online.
It’s already Week 13 of the 2017 NFL season. One game of note going on between AFC South rivals on Sunday afternoon will be the one between the Houston Texans (4-7) and the Tennessee Titans (7-4). Kickoff from Nissan Stadium in Nashville will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 3.
Houston enters play at 4-7 on the year and in third place in the AFC South race. Though the Texans are largely out of it given that starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is out for the year with a torn ACL, this Texans team is still in the AFC South and AFC wild card race, for now.
Tom Savage will have to carry this banged-up Texans team to a 9-7 or 8-8 record to make a third straight playoff appearance. With division rivals like Tennessee and the Jacksonville Jaguars (7-4) having great seasons, the 2017 season might be over before you know it in Houston.
Tennessee enters play at 7-4 on the year and in first place in the AFC South race. The Titans would be the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoff picture if the season ended last week. They have the head-to-head tiebreaker over Jacksonville. That Week 17 meeting between them in Nashville could decide the divisional race.
The Titans have a team that can win low-scoring games with the Exotic Smash Mouth running attack of head coach Mike Mularkey, as well as another sound ageless Dick LeBeau defense. Tennessee may not win the AFC South, but should be one of two AFC South teams that will make the AFC playoffs this January.
