Warriors’ Kevin Durant ejected after hurling expletives at referee (Video)

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant hurled some expletives at the referee and was promptly ejected from the game.
Kevin Durant has gone the Charles Barkley route, electing not to be a role model and becoming a heel alá LeBron James by leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder to team up with a stacked and talented team, the Golden State Warriors.
He has embraced the hate and was ejected on Friday night during a game at the Amway Center against the Orlando Magic. It looks like he said “f**k you” to the referee, and it’s not surprising that resulted in an ejection,

What led to it is somewhat confusing. Durant drives the lane, makes the layup and it doesn’t look like a missed call.
Anthony Slater of The Athletic said Durant was upset with a non-shooting foul called on the prior possession, and this was when Durant just got the opportunity to express himself.
We’ll see if this results in a fine or suspension for Durant. The Warriors might not mind though, they’ve been arguably better when Durant has been in the lineup, based on their record.
It also looks like the NBA might be cracking down on star players, Durant is the third to be ejected in four days. Two days prior, Cleveland Cavaliers star and GOAT candidate LeBron James was ejected for the first time in his career. New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis was tossed for the first time in his career as well, albeit with a shorter career to date than James.
This is Durant’s third career ejection.
