Stoke vs. Swansea live stream: Watch Premier League online
By Adam Stocker
Stoke face Swansea at bet365 Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 2. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Stoke and Swansea both find themselves in the bottom quarter of the Premier League table. The Potters are 16th, four points ahead of 19th-place Swansea. Through 14 games, Stoke have allowed the second most goals in the league, while the Swans have scored only seven goals the fewest goals. Despite being the lowest scoring team, Swansea have the seventh-best defense, allowing only 16 goals.
Stoke dropped their second straight game, losing 3-0 to Liverpool on Wednesday. Mark Hughes’ team have picked up only two points in their last four games. On Saturday, Stoke will look to break down Swansea’s strong defense. Stoke will rely on wingers Xherdan Shaqiri and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting getting the ball into the middle of the box for Peter Crouch and Mame Diouf. Combined, the four players have scored 12 of Stoke’s 16 goals.
After just surviving the drop last season, Swansea are again in a relegation battle. The Swans are 19th after losing five of six games, picking up only one point over that stretch. While the Swans have been a good defensive team under manager Paul Clement, they have been very disappointing offensively. The club re-signed Wilfried Bony after an 18-month stint with Manchester City. Expectations were high for Bony upon his return but the Ivory Coast striker is still looking for his first goal. Tammy Abraham has emerged as the Swans top goal threat, scoring four of the club’s seven goals. Abraham will be fresh after being unable to play against Chelsea midweek.
