The field is set and the New Year’s Six bowl games have been announced. Here is your complete television schedule for the 2017 NY6 bowl games.

Rankings have been released and the field is set for the 2017 college football bowl season. Most notably is the field of teams playing in the New Year’s Six bowl games. As it is every year, this year’s teams come with controversy as fans debate the decisions made by the selection committee.

The 2017 College Football Playoff semifinal games on New Year’s Day will feature the No. 1 Clemson Tigers facing off against No. 4 Alabama in the Rose Bowl while No. 2 Oklahoma takes on No. 3 Georgia in the Rose Bowl.

This year’s CFP selections were a surprise for some fans who expected to see a team from the Big Ten or Pac-12 in the playoffs, or at least in the top six teams. Ohio State came in at No. 5 and USC, a frontrunner from the Pac-12, didn’t even make it to the top six teams in the CFP rankings. Despite an arguably better season, Ohio State lost the fourth spot to Alabama and kept the Buckeyes out of contention for the National Championship title.

The New Year’s Six games will be updated as soon as the field is announced at 3 p.m. ET.
