Jerick McKinnon deserved bonus fantasy points for busting out the Dirty Bird touchdown celebration.

Touchdown dances are all the rage these days in the NFL. Teams will get together for choreographed dances that range from hilarious to cheesy and lame. It’s a hit and miss adventure every time a team crosses the end zone, but every now and then we get a gem.

Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon used an early touchdown against the Falcons to produce what has to be appreciated as modern art in a sea of otherwise outrageous touchdown dances.

McKinnon used the opportunity to bust out a throwback troll, celebrating with a little Dirty Bird action.

Some sort of honor needs to be bestowed upon this touchdown dance. It’s modern art and we need to appreciate it as such. If touchdown celebrations are going to be a thing now, then when someone busts out performance art like this then it needs to be recognized.

This was beautiful.

McKinnon has been part of a dual threat backfield after Dalvin Cook was injured, but he’s making the most of it. He’s productive on the field but he’s also way ahead of everyone else when it comes to celebrating touchdowns.
