The best high salary and value picks and pivots for FanDuel fantasy hockey on Tuesday, December, 5.

Welcome to the fantasy NHL picks and daily lineups for FanDuel. Tonight we have a full 10-game slate for the NHL and the first game begins at 7 pm ET.

  • New Jersey @ Columbus 7:00 PM ET
  • NY Rangers @ Pittsburgh 7:30 PM ET
  • St. Louis @ Montréal 7:30 PM ET
  • Winnipeg @ Detroit 7:30 PM ET
  • NY Islanders @ Tampa Bay 7:30 PM ET
  • Nashville @ Dallas 8:30 PM ET
  • Buffalo @ Colorado 9:00 PM ET
  • Carolina @ Vancouver 10:00 PM ET
  • Anaheim @ Las  Vegas 10:00 PM ET
  • Minnesota @  Los Angeles 10:00 PM ET

Breaking down a large slate is tough, the best strategy is to choose the best match-ups and focus on the must play and values in those games. Looking at the game projected totals the Rangers at Pittsburgh match-up is perfect. The Rangers rank higher in goals per game, however, Pittsburgh has many weapons that have been heating up which will make this a potentially high scoring game to target. We also need exposure to the New York Islanders at Tampa Bay Lightning. The Islanders did not disappoint last night and remain a great play tonight. Tampa Bay has two of the top offensive players in the NHL in Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov. These two teams rank second and third in the goals scored. The teams you need to focus on for value and one-offs will be Nashville, Dallas, Winnipeg and Montreal.
