High Salary Wingers

Alex Ovechkin, WAS vs. CHI ($8700): For starters, he has 20 goals and six assists and is one of the best wings in hockey. He may be the chalk fade of the night. Chicago plays a tight slow defensive style game and this game looks like a trap for game log chasers. If you have to play him go for it, he scores goals, and he will have to get a few to cover this price tag.

Jakub Voracek, PHI at EDM ($7900): Just because it’s a small slate doesn’t change the strategy of stacking teams. Play him in a stack with Filppula and move on.

Johnny Gaudreau, CGY at TOR ($7800): Believe it or not this is most likely the highest owned wing tonight. If you’re going all in tonight on the flames the only way to go is with a Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan stack. If you’re not playing them together, you should consider fading them both.

High Value Wingers

Jesse Puljujarvi, EDM vs. PHI ($4100): We saw the potential last game out as he put up a monster 30.4 fantasy points. With that potential and a safe floor of 10.4 per game average, he’s that low owned upside value you need to win.

Ryan Dzingel, OTT at ANH ($3900): Remember when punting a play to temper your expectations. He is better than his stats and the upside for a talented cheap winger is too tempting to pass up.

Connor Brown, TOR vs. CGY ($3400): Low-owned upside is the name of the game and Brown is a star that is under priced and due to start filling the net. Stacking him with his linemate Matthews is a high leverage play and will set you apart from the field tonight.
