Ronda Rousey is all but retired from the UFC and looks to be heading to the WWE in the near future.

The one time dominant champion of the UFC women’s bantamweight division is moving on from the sport that made her a household name. Following her loss to current champion Amanda Nunes, Rousey has shied away from the sport of mixed martial arts and seems to be focused on other endeavors. USA Today first reported that a deal between the WWE and Rousey is all but finalized.

This summer, the rumors began to fly that Rousey will be taking her talents to WWE following her MMA career. She has not been training since her loss to Nunes and recently announced on her Facebook page that she has her sights set on an upcoming film in which she is starring in alongside Mark Walhberg. In the post on her Facebook page, she states that she will be changing her body to move away from a fighter’s build in order to fit her new role. This is just the most recent hint that her time in the UFC has come to an end.

Rousey and her three best friends — Shayna Baszler,  Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir — have already been involved in a WWE promotion. Rousey herself has appeared with The Rock at WrestleMania 31. The move to wrestling is more than likely at this point.

Along with television hosting jobs and movie role, the WWE move seems to be a better fit for Rousey at this time in her life. The 30-year-old former Olympian recently got married to longtime boyfriend and fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne. Following the two losses to Nunes, UFC president Dana White has been vocal about his opposition to Rousey’s return.

“I wouldn’t want to see it,” White at a recent media lunch. “I don’t want it to happen. I care about her and she’s got enough money and all that stuff. I don’t want to see it happen.”

Rousey has been a fan of WWE and their facilities, in which she has already begun training, for some time now. She could make her debut at Wrestlemania 34 in April.
