DraftKings European League Basketball Picks December 7

More from DraftKings

DraftKings has brought the Euro League state side! They even have an app where we can watch the games that our picks are involved in!

The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from

Last round, I had a decent placing with my lineup. It won some money at least, anchored by Nick Calathes.

Guards:

It’s an easy day for the top guards. TheĀ top two are pitted against the two worst teams defending the perimeter in the league. The next four options also have it easy, facing teams in the bottom half of the league as well.

Alexey Shved ($13,600): I can’t decide between the top two options, so I’m taking both. There is enough value up front to allow me to do this. Shved leads the Euro League in scoring, and with most of the Khimki frontcourt beat up, Shved has had to score even more. He showed flashes of brilliance in the NBA. Now he is getting a chance to showcase it every night!

Nick Calathes ($13,300):Ā Calalthes has a superb 170 DraftKings points over the last four rounds. He is dominating right now, and putting up better numbers than anyone else in that span. I’m hitching my wagon to him today. Zalgiris is the second worset team in the league defending guards. Only Milan is worse! Nando de Colo and Erick Green are tempting, but I’m going with the two best against the two worst.

Cory Higgins ($6,500): Sergio grabs all the headlines, but Higgins has been a nice sidekick to Rodriguez on the perimeter. Higgins has scored in double digits in each of the last five games, and has raised his minutes total to just over half the game. I think I’m going to end up going cheaper up front. There just seems to be more value, but Higgins in still on my radar.

PROVIDENCE, RI – MARCH 17: Head coach Sean Miller of the Arizona Wildcats greets Kaleb Tarczewski #35 after being defeated by the Wichita State Shockers with a score of 65 to 55 during the first round of the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at Dunkin’ Donuts Center on March 17, 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island. Forwards:

There is tons of value up front with Khimki’s depleted front. There are also several under the radar players who have carved out sizeable roles in the Euro League this year.

Jonah Bolden ($6,300): Bolden has been the best value in the league lately. Over the last four rounds, Bolden in averaging 29.5 DraftKings points per game. That puts him up there with players that are nearly double his salary. At this point, Bolden is a must-play. I will get separation somewhere else.

Kaleb Tarczewski ($6,200): The former Arizona star has been one of the most consistent big men up front for Milan. He still isn’t starting, but Tarczewski still played about half the game, and hasn’t been underĀ 18 DraftKings points since round 3 of the season. Tarczewski is a strong value play, albeit with little upside.

Tyler Honeycutt ($5,600): Honeycutt’s Euro League debut went pretty well last round. He picked up 17.25 points in 17 minutes against Bamberg. With Thomas Robinson out for at least a monthĀ Ā Malcolm Thomas and Honeycutt have bore the load in the frontcourt. Honeycutt looked better than Thomas last around, and remains $1,300 cheaper. Honeycutt fits nicely in my guard-heavy rotation at this price. ***Note – Anthony Gill is listed as OUT on DraftKings but has played the last two games.
