The best picks, stacks and value plays for FanDuel fantasy hockey for Thursday, Dec. 7.
Welcome to FanSided NHL FanDuel picks and pivots for Thursday, Dec. 7. Tonight we have a decent nine-game slate with some interesting match-ups.
- NYI at PIT 7:00 p.m. ET
- ARI at BOS 7:00 p.m. ET
- CGY at MON 7:30 p.m. ET
- COL at TB 7:30 p.m. ET
- WPG at FLA 7:30 p.m. ET
- DAL at STL 8:00 p.m. ET
- PHI at VAN10:00 p.m. ET
- OTT at LAK10:30 p.m. ET
- CAR at SJ10:30 p.m. ET
With a big slate tonight, you want to target the highest projected goal total games and then sprinkle in the value and one-off or high-priced locks.
The first game that stands out is the Islanders at the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins. Vegas opened the total on this game at six and a half goals. If you’re new to NHL DFS that’s a huge number for an NHL game. The Winnipeg at Florida game has a six-goal projection and the Avalanche at Tampa Bay also has a six-goal total. Those are obvious target games. The good news is that the industry will avoid the Flyers, Canucks, Ottawa and Kings as they play later and most will target the higher total early games, working in your favor to target value and a stud or two from these later games.
